A Message from our Executive Director

There are many choices out there for those searching for the perfect place to call home, and we appreciate what a unbelievably difficult decision this is. I am so delighted to be the Executive Director representing Blakey Hall of Elon.

Blakey Hall is one of the most experienced and premier senior care communities in North Carolina. Our management team has over 110 combined years of providing quality service to our residents! Our family of colleagues and the amount of knowledge we carry will ensure that your family is well supported.

We are not restricted to one area of care, however. We have independent living apartments at The Hamlet and senior freestanding homes at the Henton at Elon. We offer assisted living for our residents of Blakey Hall, along with care that specializes in those challenged with dementia in The Cottage at Blakey.

The piece that makes me the most excited about Blakey Hall is our approach of intergenerational interaction. What does this mean? This makes us unlike any other community in our state.

Our residents work together with students and professors from Elon University to learn from each other in both classroom and social environments. We are proud of our relationships we have with current and retired professors from the university who offer continued educational experiences for any resident who still has a desire to never stop learning.

The activities program offers volunteer opportunities for Elon students to engage our residents in exciting social affairs or 1:1 relationships.

We even boast a childcare program to add to the fun atmosphere only children can bring with their energy and sense of curiosity. We believe that generations should never stop studying and collecting wisdom from one another!

We constantly strive to provide our residents, families and friends the highest quality experience possible.  Come in for a visit. Let our family care for your family.

Sincerely,

Ed Weeks
Executive Director
Blakey Hall
