Anyone Can Make A Difference
At Blakey Hall, there are countless opportunities for individuals and groups to help around our facilities. If you want to contribute through your special talent or skill, let us know. We will find an opportunity for you!
Studies show that volunteering helps us enjoy longer lives. Likewise, taking part in worthwhile causes helps add meaning to our lives and improve our quality of living.
Aside from individuals, groups are encouraged to join our volunteer programs. Bands and choirs are welcome to perform their pieces for our residents. Furthermore, service groups can help us organize our building events. Interested groups may also suggest their own events to our activities director.
Various Volunteer Opportunities
One of our most popular volunteer programs is our seasonal dinners, which we hold during the holidays, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day. Individuals can also participate in our Adopt-A-Grandparent program. All of these opportunities are great for students who are looking to participate in our respective volunteer initiatives.
